We are using Plyboo bamboo plywood that is grown in FSC certified forests and is produced using urea formaldehyde free glues. As a unique design feature, we have eliminated the need for hardware and tools by utilizing our slip-fit system of interlocking joints, so assembling the furniture is a snap.

Natural Collection
We are seeking funding to complete the prototype process to insure we have everything right, including finishes and fabrication methods. Then we will produce a limited production run for you, the Kickstarter contributors.
We will also finalize our packaging design, which will include recycled materials – with none of those Styrofoam packing peanuts. And to continue with our philosophy of giving back to the planet, we will donate a portion of our proceeds to planet friendly causes.
Rewards
We have developed rewards specifically for the Kickstarter contributors that include bamboo T-Shirts and bamboo desktop mobile device stands for smart phones and small and large tablets that utilize the same interlocking joints as our furniture.

The mobile device stands are sized for Phone, Small Tablet such as the Samsung Galaxy 7" and Large Tablet such as the iPad and Galaxy 10" screens. The stands are able to be turned at 0 and 90 degrees for your needs and the notch for the other direction becomes a handy cord holder, so your not lost the next time you need a quick connection. These stands will become an invaluable desktop accessory.

Small Tablet Stand

The T-Shirts will be of mechanically separated bamboo fiber, which is one of the softest, strongest, and sustainable materials available for T-Shirts. We will also use eco-ink to keep with our low impact footprint.

Your support is greatly appreciated. We cannot wait to get these furniture pieces into the hands of our customers. Thank you for your contribution to help our furniture get legs.
FAQ
-
The Natural Plyboo table is a vertical grade bamboo sheet made with layers of light bamboo slices glued up similar to a sheet of 3/4" x 4' x 8' of butcher block. This creates an amazingly strong and consistent product that has a surface grain and appears to be solid. The Tiger is made from dark and light strands of bamboo adhered to 1/2" center of vertical grade to match its surface. Don't think of it as plywood in the sense that it is a lumber yard kind of product - this is a furniture grade material that is free of voids and is solid as a hardwood. We have been carrying around loose samples for months and they have nearly no blemishes.

After working in entertainment and commercial design for over 20 years, we have refocused our careers on sustainability. Our team has worked on large projects including airports and hotels as well as mixed use projects including multifamily and retail, and have produced custom millwork and furniture design. Our founders have experience working for creative firms such as Disney, Hard Rock and Gensler and have been shaping the way we interact with our environments.
As we have grown in our careers, we have found that the buildings we are constructing and products we consume, with the exception of a few, utilize more resources than is necessary. That is why we formed Natural Ergonomics, to offer products to consumers that reduce our impact on the environment and improve our quality of life.
