love the new postcard of the film. Nice work!
Nathaniel, Beautifully done. Jack W. is one of the original poets from the early days of Elko's Cowboy Poetry Gathering; it's good to see him and see your lovely work of music and photography as he recites his poems. There are other cowboy poets, though, who would disagree that Cowboy Poetry should rhyme. Many poets use free verse here, too. thanks for catching Jack, Nathaniel. Good work.
Love this concept. Can't wait to watch... already enjoying the snippets of people's stories.
Thanks everyone! I should have the website up in the next few weeks so I'll post an update once it's ready. Thanks again for everything!!!
this is such an important project, I will look forward to seeing it happen..
So, so proud of you Nathaniel! You did it!!!
xoxo
Nathan,Dude congrats in getting the funding for your project.

Thanks Leilani! I'm so happy too! Still taking it all in. And yes - Leigh, nail biting is now over!!! Thankfully.
LOL, Leilani! I know how you feel, I was trying to look for the EDIT button myself when I made my "boo-boo"! Thanks for making me smile with your fun post! =). What a FANTASTIC day today is, yessiree! I think Nathanial will need a soak in a hot tub and a stiff drink tonight, now that his nail-biting is over, lol.
Uh, I mean WHO HAS contributed...is there a comment edit button I'm missing on this site...ha ha, oops!
I'm so happy!!! That this film will be made!! By you!!! It's not even my project, but I feel so many thanks to everyone whose contributed, ha ha!! Just really glad to be apart of great art being produced!
THANK YOU all so much! I'm kind of in a state of shock right now. This last hour has been a total blur.
Video update to come tomorrow...look for it!
YAY!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Oh my gosh, I have tears in my eyes, I wanna cry for you, this is so AMAZING!!!
Congratulations!!!
A couple of us at Live Journal have been spreading the word so hopefully more money will come in. Another Kickstarter film project picked up quite a bit of money in its final hours so I'm hoping this will happen again. The Elders seems like such a deserving project. I really hope you get the money - you deserve it. I loved your short film 'Pat'.
Good luck Nathaniel!!!
LOL, I meant "pledge," NOT "bid"! haha (I've been sending out for bids for freelancers, so I've go "bid" on my mind. Sorry about that =)
OMG, you are so close, Nathaniel! I upped my bid, so I hope it helps!
If 100 of us upped our bid $20 he'll make his goal!! Or if the remaining 155 Backers even just another $12.00 each = $1,860, he'll SUCCEED!!
You have such a worthy project, I would hate to see this fall short of your goal having come soooo close!!
See that picture happening, Nathaniel!!
I'm running a campaign for it on Facebook...
Thanks you guys! Sooooo close!
What Anna said! I see you've made some awesome progress in even the last 12 hours. You can do it!
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help your last minute push!
I genuinely have believe in this project, and I am praying it will succeed. You're almost there; time to hop on Twitter and get some momentum for the home stretch!
Great concept and very cool to see that you're more than halfway to your goal!
I love this idea. I only wish I had enough money to contribute so you could talk to my 97 year old Aunt Elsie. Her mind is still so very sharp and witty. She has seen so much over the years. But I know I will enjoy hearing others stories too. Good Luck with your project!
This sounds amazing! I'm a 20-something who's worked with and on behalf of older adults for a number of years, and I've shared your page with colleagues. I would suggest trying to tap into your local aging network if you can through reaching out to area agencies on aging, AARP, or any other local organizations that serve seniors, as I'm sure such organizations would support your efforts. Good luck!
Jon and I think you are so talented! We're excited to see the finished product!
Thanks Ewa, Thanks Emrys! It's going to be a nail-biter, but thanks to your donation it's one step closer :)
Very inspiring work. Makes me realize I need to get my projects going already. Hope you get all the donations you need :)
Good luck Than! I believe you can do it! Support N. Hansen art!
