Update #10: Your Choice of Shirts!
Okay, Backers! The books are being delivered to me today! It's time to choose your shirt if your pledge included one. Here are your final selections for shirts. Note, some sizes may be out of stock. If so, I'll send you all the other rewards and then the shirt later. For Flabbergast, Escape Into Comics, and Happyloo I have kids sizes as well as adult. For all others It's adult sizes only S, M, L, XL

Update #9: You in a Flabbergast suit!
I can't thank all my backers enough! The book is finished and I'm speaking with Transcontinental (the printer) now. Here's the thank you page from Flabbergast: Science Friction!
Update #8: Three Pages Away
At the time of writing this, The book is just THREE pages away from being complete! I have sent out the picture requests to all those who pledged $50 and up.
Once the book is at the printer, I will start putting the rewards packages together. For backers who pledged $30 and up start thinking about what Shirt/shirts you want. I'll be making the custom art for those who pledged $50 and up real soon, so start thinking of what you would like your Art Piece to be, or if you just want a Mark Original.
This is a ton of fun for me and I am so grateful to have you all believe in my art.

Update #5: T-Shirt Rewards
If you pledged enough to receive a T-Shirt, here are the designs you can choose from. By the time the book is at the printer, I will have a "Zombies!" shirt available. The "Escape Into Comics," "Flabbergast," and "Happyloo Falling" shirts are available in kids sizes as well as adult.

Update #2: Kids Comic Con and more
Hey everybody! BIG THANKS to all my Backers. We're getting there. It means a lot to me that you believe in FLABBERGAST! Remember, if I don't reach my goal by May 1st, we all lose. No money for the Flabbergast book and no cool rewards for you. So please spread the word to your friends. This book is gonna be awesome and for $10 they can have it when it's finished! Any amount pledged will be a big help.
This Saturday, April 10 is the 4th Kids Comic Con in Bronx NY. It's always a fun time for kids and adults. check out kidscomiccon.com for all the details. There will be plenty of creators on hand, including me! I'll be selling books and shirts and doing request art cards. So if you've got nothing to do this Saturday... now you do!

I’m Mark Mariano and I am a Cartoonist.
At age three, I drew a truck with my name on it on the basement floor in chalk and I’ve been drawing ever since. As a kid I drew many comics staring an assortment of characters. They were original heroes influenced by my favorite TV shows and comics. Now, not much has changed. I’m still in love with comics and cartoons, and my artwork has improved slightly from when I was three.
