Two years ago, my dream of releasing an album of my music became a reality. I‘d been writing music for as long as I can remember and after talking about recording a CD for more than 15 years, Until Tomorrow Comes was released. What a great day!
Music is a big part of my life and at every moment, there's a simple melody - at times, even a symphony - playing in my mind. For the past two years, I've continued to write new original music and the time has come to share it with the world.
My music has been described as follows:
"Instrumental, pop-styled piano compositions that connect and inspire!"
My hope is that you agree and you'll consider joining this project and helping me make a second CD a reality.
Simple Things, the title of this new offering, will include 10 new original instrumental compositions. My inspiration - the simple things in life: love, nature, conversations, relationship, family and friends. All of the compositions feature a strong piano lead - my instrument of choice - and, thanks to the musical genius of my good friend Scott Helgerson, will be accompanied by great arrangements. While the opportunity exists to do wonderful things in the studio, we are staying true to the title of the CD and focusing on presenting music that truly connects and inspires.

Depuis que je suis haut comme trois pommes, la musique joue un rôle important dans ma vie. J’ai toujours des mélodies qui se jouent dans ma tête, quelques fois c’est même une symphonie qui se produit. Il y a deux ans, mon rêve musical entretenu depuis une quinzaine d’années s’est concrétisé par le lancement de mon premier CD intitulé, «UNTIL TOMORROW COMES» : ce projet demeure ma plus grande fierté personnelle!
Depuis ce temps, j’ai continué de créer de nouvelles mélodies : des pièces originales puisées dans mon vécu. On décrit ma musique comme étant des compositions instrumentales de musique populaire qui engage et inspire. Le moment est donc venu pour moi de partager ces nouvelles compositions dans un nouveau projet de CD que j’ai nommé "Simple Things".
C’est pourquoi je vous lance une invitation personnelle de participer avec moi à la réalisation de ce nouveau projet musical pour en faire une réalité.
Le CD "Simple Things" sera une compilation de dix (10) nouvelles pièces instrumentales originales pour piano (mon instrument préféré) inspirées des choses simples de la vie soit l’amour, la famille, la nature, mes conversations avec les gens de mon entourage. Chaque pièce sera agrémentée par des arrangements musicaux créer en studio par un cher ami et complice en musique Scott Helgerson. Bien que le montage en studio permet bien des nuances, nous voulons demeurer fidèle et présenter une musique qui engage et inspire dès la première mesure.
Pour avoir un avant-goût de cette collection, écoutez ma version d’une mélodie traditionnelle canadienne-française "À la claire fontaine" sur iTunes. Ma plus grande inspiration c’est de partager ma musique avec vous!

de la copie maîtresse pour la production et la distribution. Beaucoup de choses
à faire pour assurer une grande diffusion de cette musique aux mélomanes du
monde : votre participation peut m’aider à faire connaître "Simple
Things" plus rapidement et partager mon amour de la musique.

It started some 40 years ago in a small town in eastern Ontario called Alexandria. For as long as I can remember, music has been a part of my life and the piano has been front and center. That’s the one thing I had going for me …. a love of music. I know for a fact that God blessed me with the gift of music, but I owe lots to my parents, Denis & Denise, for nurturing this gift.
I still remember my piano teacher from grade school – Mrs. Brown. She was patient and a great teacher. After completed my Music Conservatory – Level 1, I walked away from piano lessons. I know there are days my mother wishes she would have held her ground and made me continue! It’s okay Maman, it all worked out in the end. In 1982 our family moved to Timmins, Ontario and that’s when my love for music took on a life of its own. My first band was called “Rouge et Noir” and we were lucky to play several times for our entire school. During my junior year, I joined a local top-forty band. I was 16 years old and playing the bar circuit in Timmins. I played in the same bars and venues Shania Twain got her start in!
In late 1987, my parents got me tickets to see Up With People. That night changed my life! After graduating from high school, I traveled as a student in Cast B88. I loved it so much that I returned to work for them as a band leader, show manager/vocal instructor and production manager.
It was in Up With People that I met the woman of my dreams. Heather and I have been married for 14 years and she’s been an inspiration to me since day one. We have three kids and several musical compositions have been inspired by them. Music has blessed my life and it is my pleasure to share it with you.
My first CD, Until Tomorrow Comes was released in June 2009. I hope youll consider joining me and being a part of this new project - a new compilation of 10 pop-styled instrumental piano songs titled "Simple Things".
