Open Source Energy Harvesting
Mike Kershaw pointed out this blog post to me today:

I have those same parts on my bench! It seems that Jean-Claude Wippler of JeeLabs is getting close to a solution similar to the Firefly Cap's indoor photovoltaic energy harvesting design.
Tomorrow I plan to record a video that details the design decisions made during development of the Firefly Cap. I hope that Jean-Claude and future hardware designers will be able to take advantage of the lessons I learned.
For people to be able to easily build things like photovoltaic wireless sensor nodes, it is important to have an open source reference design. Even easier is an off-the-shelf module like the Firefly Cap that can be used with little or no modification!
Thanks for your support, everyone!
