Update #7: Collections, Scheduling and Rewards

Hi everyone! Thanks again for all your help in getting the financing needed to record and put out our first full length album. While it will take a few months to complete the process, I hope to keep everyone informed every step of the way. Now, here are a few things that you may be wondering about:


COLLECTIONS

We are currently waiting on Kickstarter and Amazon to round up all the money pledged. I think over 95% is collected. Please ensure that your transaction has gone through and that no errors occur. It will take about two weeks for funds to be disbursed into the Mohawk Bomb Records account.


FYI - Kickstarter/Amazon keep a percentage of the money as a processing fee, so we will not get the full $5,000. We knew this and it was worked into the budget.


STUDIO AND PRE-PRODUCTION

Once we have cash in hand, we can schedule the studio time in September. We are 95% sure we know which studio we are going to, but I need to make sure before I announce it.


In the meantime, we will be finishing writing new songs and recording demo versions of all the contenders for your review and voting. Remember, you will have an active part in the creative process and your input will be invaluable, so keep an eye out for Backer Updates.


REWARDS

As for making good on all the rewards, we will contact all backers individually to make any necessary arrangements. We would like to start delivering on the promises in September, after we are done with the pre-production phase (writing, recording demos at practice).

We will mail you a signed DVD copy of both these videos and upload them to YouTube. Of course, full props will be given to you. Plus, you will be able to sit on stage during the CD release show.
