Steven: we are holding shipment temporarily due to issue of screws however our shipment will resume next week. Most cases will be shipped by Friday.

For those requesting refunds: first, please understand what Kickstarter is and is not. It IS a micro funding site. It is NOT a normal online store front. You are essentially "investing" in a business. As a, so called "investor" you get to experience the trials and tribulations of a new business or product (which is quite normal). Also, like an investor, you don't get the luxury of just pulling money out that you've already put in...investing doesn't work that way. It's a risk to fund things like this. The only difference between funding a business on kick starter and investing in one in the outside world is that, in theory, you get a product instead of cash returns. If you didn't fully realize that before putting up your money, you should be more careful to read the fine print before giving out your hard earned money. You are not getting a refund (as they are currently spending that money to make a product you claimed you wanted). So please, sit back, relax, and be patient as they work out the kinks (again...very normal) and perfect their product.

Can I get a set of the new screws when they are available? The old hex ones are stripped and the case is a bit loose. I will probably need another Allen wrench to help remove them too. Otherwise, the case is great! I've gotten a lot of compliments!

Just want to say if a takes a little longer to receive a better product - I'm willing to wait. Yea, it would have been nice if you were able to meet the projected delivery date, but having supported new businesses in the past, that rarely happens. As others have stated, continue to provide regular updates and most backers will hang in there with you. Don't go silent...it only pisses people off because they'll think they've been had! I'd rather folks say, "this iPhone case is THE BOMB - it was worth the wait", than to rush, send out an inferior product, and ultimately shoot yourself in the foot before you even get the product off the ground. Just keep at it. I have faith in you! Looking forward to getting my "It's THE BOMB" iPhone case!

so sorry, we didn't mean to ignore you. But please understand that each of the reward is individually funded by you, our backer. We use every penny of your fund to allow the manufacturer to buy materials, make the tools, set aside labor and time to make the case. If we are short on the funding, we would have not be able to reach the funding goal successfully. Your fund goes beyond this reward and it goes towards realizing a vision in industrial design and believing in a different case for the smart phone, providing another choice that's different for the consumer.
I may not like some of the cars that are being made, but I do appreciate the choices I can make and seeing innovations and new companies trying different things to open new doors to new designs. I hope you stay on board and see this project through and be proud one day when you see it on the shelves, your funding goes beyond a product in Kickstarter, way beyond.

Hi Backers,
I will meet with the manufacturer tomorrow as they said they have a better idea on the issues, especially on stabilizing the production/shipping schedules.
They had a change in management which stunted progress and we had many disagreements on how to move forward, especially with my team's insistence that they treat the project with a great sense of URGENCY.
I will note everyone's address changes and any issues with the replacement parts tomorrow.
The short version of the back story so far is: they are unable to produce the parts at the quantity to meet the already late shipping schedule. So after much back and forth and negotiations, they agreed to send out some parts for others to help manufacture. They themselves are short-handed and their machines are very few.
We are shipping as I previously said, but at a slower pace.

Just got my radius case today and it looks great. No problems with installation and there are even extra screws included in the package. Fits perfect on my phone and looks amazing, worth the extra wait. Thanks for the great product mod-3!

We will get some Green and Cyan back from anodizing company back tomorrow and I will post pics this weekend or early next week when they are assembled and ready to ship. We send anywhere from 100-200 cases to the anodizing place at a time and some days we will get them back in 5 days, some in 7 days, we are trying to make them aware of the situation and have them deliver to us with more reliability.

Hi Stavros, I am posting a snipped from the update: "With the funding that we received from you, we proceed with creating a product which has never been manufactured before. And unlike some of the more conventional cases, the RADIUS comes with its own very unique challenges to produce at large quantity, and many of those we found out only during manufacturing."
I am sorry for your frustration. This project is a lifeline for us here at mod-3, we are learning and perfecting the product and the process.

Hi Alex, great you able to extract the broken parts. We certainly don't expect our usres to do this but the screws is a major issue we are tackling. Once installed the screws is strong enough for the case, it's just DURING installation, it will twist off with force.

After extracting the broken screw from my case I used a bit of locktite on the replacement screw and it seems to be making a big difference.

I agree with the other backers. We need more communication about what is going to be done about the screws. We should not have to worry about it failing apart after one day and possibility scratching our iPhone's. I was looking forward to this case since January. After one day of very gentle use my camera corner screw has also broken. I never removed the screw for install. I too am stuck now with a broken screw post. Very disappointed. Seems like a major design flaw to use such weak screws. What are my options?

Is it possible to cancel order and just get a refund? I spent good money $59 for a case to protect my phone. I have not received mine yet, and based on all the comments, the case will not protect my phone. I have waited months to get this case, and gave passed up numerous other cases to get the Radius case, but now apparently the case is delicate and will serve no purpose to me. Does anyone know how to cancel?

I agree with Tom's post, "It would be really handy to to post a delivery schedule or something similar!"
Also you would think those of us that went with the LE Green case should be in the first group of cases that shipped not in the back of the line!
