Julianna Barwick is a musician based in Brooklyn, New York, currently making some of the most exciting music happening right now. Her performances and recordings are constructed almost entirely out of her incredible singing voice, and they've rendered so many people who've heard and seen her perform utterly speechless.
M'lady's Records is a record company based in Washington, D.C., committed to putting out records by radicals of all kinds. We've been great admirers of Ms. Barwick for many years now, and are very excited about the possibility of reissuing her classic debut "Sanguine" (self-released a few years ago only on CD) on LP, in a deluxe presentation, mastered by Mr. Paul Gold at Salt Mastering for maximum sonic thrills. This record has been in heavy rotation on our stereo for so long, now it's your turn!
For those of you that wish to contribute a bit more, we have on offer two special editions: one is accompanied by a limited bonus 7" with unreleased music (in a strict edition of 200 copies), and the second accompanied by not only the single, but a 16" x 20" print!
