Video Pup-Date: Fun in the Sun!
So to celebrate meeting (and now, exceeding) 50% of our funding goal we took the puppies out to enjoy a bit of glorious sunshine! Also, don't forget, I'm collecting questions for a special "PAQ" (Puppy Asked Questions) video segment, so if you have any, leave them in the comments. Have a lovely day, and as always, thank you for your support as we charge boldly toward the finish line!

Dave & Bruce, I've decided to take a slightly different direction with this. I've got something up my sleeve that's going to knock both your socks off. But I'll have to wait until this weekend to do it (after I do my Podcastle intro that's due, of course) :-)
But I will still answer ALL of these questions, as they are great. As a matter of fact, I may make some of them FAQs on the front page.

Okay, I'll bite! What *is* the air-speed velocity of an unladen shadow.
Fine, also - I'd like to know who each of the puppies favorite characters are and why. (One of those pooches better bark Tesla!)

Thank you, Bruce! These are great. (I will probably still answer the one about the unladen swallow, though.) :-P

Maybe I can toss a few in in here on process. What tools/resources did you use to research the historical background for the book (and organize it). I know you used some historical maps, and tracked some material on Pinterest (which I followed and thought was brilliant). You obviously love History; how much of your time do you find yourself doing research vs writing, and was it scheduled (like your habit of waking up at shockingly early hours to write)? Another: what was your biggest surprise (so far), producing this book independently, and how is this experience comparing (stress/satisfaction-wise) with traditional publishing?

Dammit people, 60% is coming up quick! if someone doesn't ask me something I'm going to have to make up silly questions like "What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?" And you don't want that? OR DO YOU?
