About this project
We've been together for just about a year now, in that time we've been to 7 states, 2 countries, and travelled 11,000 miles by ground. To date, we've refined 13 eclectic songs which we are including in our debut album produced by Jesse Barrera. However, we can't make it any further without your help.
Who is Mitchell Grey?
We are independent Alternative/RnB band based out of NY, NY. Our passion is creating music together and sharing it with the world on our own terms. Over the past year, our supporter's have made this possible by sharing our videos on the internet and attending our concerts all across the eastern seaboard.
Tell us about the Record?
Since we came together as a band, we've arranged 13 eclectic songs that we're all very excited to share. These songs have documented our experiences, struggles and growth. Musically, they blend many styles, incorporating the unique backgrounds of each member. Those who have seen us at shows have experienced the rhythmic, lyrical, passionate combination of Alternative Rock & RnB which we aim for. With this record, we plan to share that sound with the world.
Will $5000 cover everything?
No. $5000 is just a portion of the costs associated with the record. Out of pocket, the band has already paid for flights & the first portion of recording. However, recording, mixing, mastering, printing CD's & merchandise all pose a significant cost, without a successful fundraiser we cannot release the album. We are hoping to exceed this goal so that we can make our final product in even higher quality.
What if you don't reach your goal?
Then we don't release the album, but that's okay because we found a very large cardboard box to live in.

Early this year, in preparation for recording, we recorded five acoustic songs at a studio in New Jersey, with the help of our good friend Colin Rieser. We figured that a great way to use them was to have them be an exclusive gift to those of you who supported us. This EP helped us prepare for where we are now, and you, the pledger, helped us prepare for where we will be tomorrow.

As a band, we are all about connecting with our fans. We thought a cool way to do this with the project would be to give you exclusive videos from the studio while were here, in addition to some bonus videos that we haven't released on youtube. We want to be partners, you make this possible, and so we're going to try to put in a little bit extra for you!
