About this project
I want to make a series of rubber stamps from my drawings. I grew up rubber stamping and I know the fun and joy it brings! My drawings are very "cute" and will add a touch of whimsy and inspiration to whatever they are stamped onto including but not limited to: mail, handmade cards, office memos, to do lists, classwork or homework, and even scrapbook pages!
I already have a huge volume of artwork to choose from, and I have digitized most of it! Now I need to narrow down which drawings I want to actually use, and send them digitally to a stamp maker (I plan to use a local guy based in San Francisco, CA. I've spoken with him on the phone several times, and his prices are great. I can't wait to work with him!)
The money will be used to pay for the actual cost of production. I will get as many stamps made as possible with the money raised. My best estimate (depending on stamp sizes) is that I will be able to get 2 dozen each of about 6 designs with this project money. This will vary depending mainly on stamp size.
These will be red rubber WOOD MOUNTED STAMPS, of very high stamping quality!

I've been crafting for about 10 years and I absolutely love making things. My favorite medium is working with fabric, and sewing, but I do it all! I also love to draw, paint, and paper craft. I love tools. I will do just about anything to be the first girl on the block with the new crafting tool. I can not live without my computer and my phone. I love my family, which is two little girls and a husband. We also have 3 dogs and a cat. In the Spring, you can usually find us on the softball fields, in the summer, we'll be at the river, in the fall you can find us trying to pretend it's still summer, and in the Winter, we are busy getting ready for holidays! It's never boring around here.
