Creepy Kitchen is a children's book about one man's very reluctant role as tour guide through his haunted kitchen that is populated by parodies of famous monsters. I really wanted to write a kid's book that also had a level of humor parents could enjoy.
I've recruited the incredible artistic talents of Dan Houser to help convert my children's poem into a full fledged book. Unfortunately, Dan and I cannot afford to bring Creepy Kitchen to life by ourselves. That's where you lovely people come in. With a little help from you, we can make our children's book a reality. Our goal is pretty close to just what we need print 100 first edition books and rewards, ship them out, and pay Dan for his hard work so his family can eat. If we need more than that? Well, it's a problem we'd love to have! Surpassing our initial goal also means we can afford to get things like an ISBN, which is needed for mass distribution, allowing us to get Creepy Kitchen into more retailers, do a little marketing, travel to some shows to promote, and travel a little farther out to bookstores to do signings. Keep an eye out for stretch goals once we start hitting some milestones in fundraising. We really appreciate your support and the more stuff we can give back, the better!

Sure! Creepy Kitchen follows the narrator and his faithful dog Dexter as they take a tour around his haunted kitchen where all of his kitchen implements have been replaced by whimsically monstrous counterparts. The narrator introduces each monster, becoming more terrified as the journey continues. He practically begs the reader not to go on and faints a few times.
From the art, you can see the direction we are taking. It's supposed to be more fun than scary obviously.
The book is aimed at the ages 3-7 but hopefully there's some pun humor in there that grownups can enjoy too.
