This will be, fingers crossed, the final update sent to you through Kickstarter.

After a few governmental delays, and a few small glitches in production, it seems that all is finally going smoothly, and we are nearing full production capacity and are open for business.

It felt great today to ship out the first 20+ packages, plus hand deliver to 5 different folks, the first of what will hopefully be many shipments and deliveries.  We will be sending out packages all week, and hope to have all reward fulfillment and initial orders done by this weekend.

Our web store is fully operational, and, as we work out the last few kinks in the system, we can proudly say that as of March 1st, we are OFFICIALLY live and open for business.

Thanks again to all of you for your support in this endeavor, and for your patience and understanding as we launch.

We will be starting our marketing campaigns shortly, and will add you to our mailing list for all future communications. We hope that you will stay subscribed, and follow along on our journey into deliciousness!

Look for some new flavors, and new product combinations, available later in March and April.

Also, we can finally announce that we have been invited to participate as a vendor at BACON FEST on April 14th, and look forward to seeing some of you Chicago folks at this great event.

looks like we finally have everything approved and finalized with the City!

Equipment and initial ingredients have been purchased.

We will be in the kitchen all weekend prepping and cooking, and will start shipping reward packages as early as Tuesday.

Thanks again for your support and patience. Hopefully the rewards will be sweet. (please nominate this statement for bad pun of the year)

We are officially incorporated, and registered with the IRS. Next step, City of Chicago license, which will be applied for tomorrow. Once we receive that, we can get into the kitchen and start making candy.

As long as there are no last minute glitches, we expect to be in the kitchen early next week to start producing and fulfilling all of your rewards. We will try to get as much as possible shipped out by Friday, February 10th, and should have everything fulfilled, and inventory available for purchase, by February 17th.

We are doing some last minute testing on our payment gateways on our website, and hope to have it fully functional by Monday to start taking orders.

Our packaging and labels are in transit, and expect to have new images with packaging up on the site early next week.

i can't begin to tell you how excited i am to finally get AlterImage Confections Company off the ground, and how thankful I am that you all helped make this happen.
