Help bring an artistic venture detailing the Gospel of Luke to life. Artist seeks funding for large scale traveling art exhibit.
The project:
The Visual Gospel of Luke is an original series of 118 acrylic paintings that feature the stories of Luke's Gospel. This is part one of the twelve-part series. Each part will contain approximately ten original pieces. Part one will follow Luke's writings from the angel appearing to Zachariah to the baptism of Jesus. As each part of the project is complete, it will be available on loan to galleries, museums and churches as a traveling exhibit. Once the entire project is complete, it will be available as one large exhibit. These pieces will help bring the Gospel of Luke to life for viewers in an exciting way and will also be a useful tool in bringing the Gospel to those who have not heard it.
The art:
I use professional grade acrylic paint and stretched, gallery wrapped canvas. If you choose to pledge $250 or more, you will be thanked with an original piece of artwork - not a print, not a reproduction, not a poster. Real art on real canvas that is framable yet suitable for hanging without a frame.

Believing
Delivery:
Once your piece is completed, it needs two to three weeks to dry before it can be handled. This is because the paint needs time to fully cure and since these will be wrapped and shipped, I don't want to take any chances. When shipped, the art will arrive securely wrapped in plastic. All pieces will be wrapped, packed and shipped with the utmost care to protect your purchase. Unfortunately, I cannot ship original art work overseas. The largest rewards ($250 - $5,000) can only be delivered to continental US backers because of their massive sizes and the potential for damage.
