Update #4: Ship the Chips!

ANDY BLOCH MAKES THE MONEY!
Andy Bloch makes the money in WSOP Event #2: $50K Poker Players Championship! Andy placed 16th, which gave him a nice payday of $98,330. Since he'll be donating 25% of his winnings to charity, WSOG is off to a good start with close to $25K cleared for different charities. Andy will be donating a percentage of his winnings to various charities including Three Square, which is Southern Nevada’s largest hunger-relief organization, serving those who struggle with having consistent access to food. In other news, it looks like Andy lost the prop bet to finish off 24 cupcakes!
MICHAEL KARNJANAPRAKORN WINS TWO BACK-TO-BACK TOURNAMENTS
Michael Karnjanaprakorn recently beat out 1,338 other poker players in the $30K guarantee on Full Tilt Poker. The next night he beat out another 210 people to take first again. With these two wins under his belt, Michael will be taking the rest of the month off to prep for the World Series of Poker where he will be playing in various events leading up to the Main Event. He has recently pledged < a href="http://worldseriesofgood.com/players">10% of his winnings in WSOP #47 to charity: water.
If you'd like to get involved with World Series of Good, please donate to our Kickstarter project, or pledge a percentage of your poker winnings to charity!
Update #3: The Gold Rush Begins!

Today marks the first day of the 41st annual World Series of Poker! Of the estimated 60,000 players who will participate at this year’s World Series of Poker, our goal is to encourage as many of them to donate a percentage of their winnings to charity. Help us get there by spreading awareness about our Kickstarter project! In the meantime, we have some exciting updates regarding the WSOG.
1. Phil Ivey signs up for World Series of Good!
Many people regard Phil Ivey as THE best poker player in the world. He has 7 WSOP bracelets and almost $13M in tournament winnings. Phil will be one of the coaches for Michael, and will be raising awareness for the Budding Ivey Foundation.
2. With 37 days to go, we're 23% of our way there!
Thank you so much to the 31 backers that have supported the WSOG project. We're 23% of the way there. Please help spread awareness by forwarding this project to any of your friends that play poker.
3. Michael Karnjanaprakorn adds a third non-profit to his list of charities.
Charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. 100% of public donations directly fund water projects.
If you'd like Michael to consider your charity, please send a public tweet to @thewsog with the name and link to your charity.
4. Seeking an individual or company to match donations.
We're currently looking for someone to match our $10K to donate to a charity of their choice. Please contact us at hello@worldseriesofgood.com if you're interested in getting involved.
