Square Threads - Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays... Hope this update finds everyone well.
We received our specialized tooling and created thread gauges / thread prototypes for each of the 3 Sentinel diameters.
So, why square threads....?
- With the custom square threads we are able to decrease the number of turns to open and close the Sentinel ie.. the S8 series prototypes took 10 full turns to close or open. The square thread version S8 will take 3 turns making access to contents much quicker. The same is true for the S6 and S4 models as well.
- Square threads are much less susceptible to damage if dropped.
- They are resistant to "Cross Threading"
- They are easy to clean and offer a smooth action
- Custom threads allow us the maximize wall thickness in the area of the threads making the sentinel even tougher.
- They look so cool!
Pictured are the chromoly thread gauges we created for Quality Control of the Sentinel production run. All of the production Sentinels will have these trick custom threads. This modification will not effect the water tightness.

This is awesome!
As a pledger for the complete line of Sentinels, am blown away that you have taken all the time and incurred the expense to improve the Sentinel design in such a significant manner!
It's added tremendous value to the product, which is even a better bargain than they were.
Am so glad was able to get in for the full line up before it sold out!
