Us: If you don't yet know us, Mid-American is an ambitious group of young ruffians writing music out of central Indiana. Rather than describe our music, we feel it's much easier to just have you listen here.
The Background: It's been two years since our last release. This album is where we mark our progress- our growing attention to detail, expanding ideas, widening palette of textures and sounds. Our previous experiences drove us to record this album on our own. We wanted the chance to record things the way we wanted. Already, we're incredibly excited about what we're producing.
This Project: We're a little over halfway through the recording and mixing of the album. We already have something we're proud of. This Kickstarter was created because we need help with the last step of the process- printing this album to both vinyl and CD. Your donations- all of which we appreciate more than you can know- will go towards the production and printing of these final copies that we can then distribute to you. Most of the rewards present you with a final copy of the new album among a handful of other Mid-American merchandise and Kickstarter exclusive offers.
This is not simple donation. This is more like a pre-order. Without the proper funding on this project it may likely not happen at all. Your money here ensures that we can print this album to vinyl and CD.
