A Classic Horror movie featuring ritual human sacrifice,visions of the Virgin Mary, a giant burning Wickerman and Bloodthirsty Druids

Friends, I have shot all the footage for this Classic Horror Movie, Bloodlust of the Druid Overlords, inspired by 1960's B-Horror Films, Roger Corman, Hammer Films,  H.P. Lovecraft, Weird Tales, exorcisms, and my own weird paintings ( www.michaelxrose.com). I desperately need your help to finish the film. We are out of money and need to do all the post production- editing, sound, typography. Help us bring this film to LIFE!!! Be a part of movie History. I am asking for 4 thousand dollars,  this goal will cover costs of the final editing and the kickstarter prizes for your pledges as well.

Our goal is to raise these funds, finish post -production editing and bring the finished film to the public in the Spring of 2013.

Filmed entirely on location in Ulster county, NY, this film includes such great locations as 500 foot high cliffs, lakes and rivers, caves and a giant, burning 30 foot high wickerman. A hapless male victim is disemboweled on a hideous demonic stone altar, a virgin is kidnapped for human sacrifice to dark gods, and the Ghostly vision of the Virgin Mary appears to St. Patrick and compels him to go to find the Wickerman to free the poor slave girl. 

 

 

 

 

FAQ

  • Why is the DVD reward $50 not $25?

    Someone asked me, and I am bummed out about the following , so I'd like to share some information with you all; In the video promo, I say that you can earn a DVD for pledging $25, but when I crunched the numbers later, (at Kickstarters sound suggestion before my project was approved) I realized that there would be too little money left over after the prize was manufactured, Packaged and mailed to help achieve the goal of wrapping up the film itself. So I hope that you can understand and apreciate why I decided to make the reward for a DVD at a higher level.
