Update #4: Thanks
Well unfortunately we haven't met our goal and fundraising time has expired. I will put this project on the back burner, see if I can't come up with some better ways to get it made properly, and we can come back to it with a vengeance at the right time and place.
I want to say thank you to all you lovely, helpful people out there, from those who simply supported with a 'like' on Facebook to the donors and up to the people who spread the word and gave me those brilliant ideas to help promote the short. It's been a great experience and I have learned a ton in the process. Feel free to email me any time about any of this, I am an open book. To all of you, I wish the best.

Hello everybody, just a note to say that I am still working hard to spread the word about this project and that I appreciate every ounce of support you've all given. We're at 17 supporters, and I KNOW we all know more people than that who'd like to help this short film get made, so keep at it and who knows, maybe we'll even exceed our budget when it's all said and done!

I am a filmmaker, currently working on a project entitled "Out", to be submitted to Outfest 2012.
I've been making movies since I was 12 years old. I've known for years now that being a director is my greatest passion and living in Los Angeles is the perfect place to explore that. I've lived here for less than a year and I'm already working on several projects, the greatest of which is "Out".
