A big congrats again to everyone who helped make the impossible happen!! This is what they call "crowd-funding!" :-) This campaign far exceeded my expectations, to raise the full $11,000 plus some in a very short 30 days!
I am working very hard on the final push before the festival premiere in a little less than a month. I'm looking forward to watching the beautiful final mastered print of the film projected on the big screen, made possible by all of you. Having a finished film in hand is a small end of a long journey that started over three years ago, yet it also marks the beginning of the next monumental challenge - getting the film out into the world!
Please do continue to spread the word for the film in any way you can. If you or someone you know would be interested to screen the film at your local festival, theatre, university or institution, please feel free to get in touch! I can be reached at: miao at beijingtaxithefilm.com.
Please sign up on our mailing list to stay in touch with upcoming screenings and events.

For anyone stumbling upon this page for the first time (or if anyone you know) would still like to make a contribution to the project, please consider a tax-deductible donation. The expenses related to distribution, marketing and promotions for the film is a huge chunk we're yet faced with.
For a tax-deductible donation, you can make the check payable to:
