Boarded is a site specific intervention project by Margarita I. Álvarez. 

An intervention is the act of involving oneself in a situation as to alter an action or development.

The project aims to raise funds to complete two site specific Boarded locations, starting in San Juan, Puerto Rico; followed by Humboldt Park, Chicago. The main focus is to create a template for future abandoned-space interventions, starting with the two cities that narrate a parallel in my culture.

This is a project that brings art into communities.
