About this project
When balancing work and family, sometimes art supplies take a backseat, in favor of more practical expenses. This is a chance to do something for my art without the money getting diverted to another expense.
I would like to raise funds in order to finish my photographic series, Bit Parts. Although I have had some success showing and selling my work, I am at a standstill right now due to financial issues. As a mother of 2 (soon to be 3) kids, most of the money I make from my photography goes to family-related expenses. Funding for a specific project through Kickstarter would be an ideal way for me to get money devoted to my own work.
I would like to finish my series and prepare it for publication and a gallery show. But in order to do so, I need to buy some new supplies, as I have completely run out of many of my supplies, such as ink and paper, and both my computer and my printer need some repairs.

I am an artist living in Bloomington, Indiana. I've had solo and group shows around the midwest and west coast, and have been published in print publications around the United States and abroad.
I have 2 kids, soon to be 3 (Simon, Eve, and Jude), 3 pygmy goats (Jim, Iggy, and Blanket), 2 cats (Franny and Zadie), and a fish (who doesn't have a name.)
