About this project

NOTE: The Artistree shown in the video and pictures is a prototype. The final Artistree will have an anodized black aluminum body, soft silicone grips, conductive and interchangeable tips for use on the iPad and other capacitive touch screens. Also we may change the sizing of the tips slightly during testing if needed to make a better stylus.

The whole idea around the Artistree is that all styluses only have one thickness option. If you're an avid artist or just a quick sketcher the need for multiple stylus thicknesses is always a bonus and will make your job a lot easier. With the Artistree you can outline with the thicker capacitive end and then flip it around and touch-up with the fine tip for more detail and control.

The one thing I knew when I developed this product was that there is already a big market for capacitive styluses with multiple choices to choose from. So with the Artistree, I set it apart from all others so that there will never be another need for you to buy a new stylus ever.

One key feature I added to the Artistree is the ability to interchange tips. Although they are not available now, in the future you will have the ability to add on different style tips to do different tasks. One tip I would like to make available is a paintbrush end for a better tactical feel when painting. Anything is possible with this type of stylus.

With the wide tip you can do quick sketches of ideas and do rough drawings to start your next masterpiece. I know personally, I love wide tip styluses to sketch out and rough draft my product ideas. 

With the fine tip you have the ability to touch-up and fine tune your drawing or sketch precisely and with more control of what your doing. This is why the Artistree is so unique.

With my funding goal of $30,000, I will be able to fulfill all the manufacturing costs associated with this project and send your brand new Artistree out to you.
