A feature film about dreams deferred. Second chances. And putting on a show.
Hi Everyone. My name is Anthony Meindl. I am a filmmaker in Los Angeles who is passionate about telling stories that matter. Stories that can make a difference. Stories that inspire.
I created an award-winning comedy pilot earlier this year called BIRDS OFA FEATHER.
It’s sort of a cross between GLEE for Grownups and the English show EXTRAS.
It’s about Dreams deferred. Second chances. And putting on a musical.
For anyone who’s ever had a dream and been too scared to follow it. Or gave up. Or almost lost hope – but received a miracle -- this project is for you.
It follows a group of thirty-somethings who are at a major crossroads in their lives as they face reality, realizing that their best years may already be behind them.
That’s scary. And something we can all relate to.
But fate gives them a second chance to take a leap into the unknown and live the lives they always wanted.
We all want a happy ending, don’t we?
But will they do it?
Well, in order to find out, I’ve decided to expand the story into a feature film. But we need your help to make that happen.
