Merry band of players produces free outdoor Shakespeare designed to appeal to all ages from first time playgoers to Shakespeare buffs.
For our 12th summer season, the Curtain Theatre is presenting Merry Wives of Windsor, Shakespeare's jolly romp featuring the bombastic rascal, Falstaff. Shakespeare skewers both the rising middle class and the decadent nobility in his most farcical English comedy.
The Curtain players perform on a beautiful outdoor amphitheater nestled among the redwoods behind the Mill Valley Public Library at 375 Throckmorton in Old Mill Park. The shows are free to the public. Our plays are a favorite of local theatergoers, including families with children and audience members throughout the Bay Area.
Productions have magnificent sets and costumes as well as original music and choreography. We are a volunteer non-profit organization.

The Curtain draws on an excellent production staff. We are using a Jane Austen inspired theme for the costumes and sets in this production of Merry Wives.
Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day Monday
Funds will be used for sets, costumes, publicity and printing costs.
