It's moving along
Greetings from Northern Nevada.
A quick update on the project. We have all the instrumental tracks on eight of the songs completed. I've done vocals on 3 of them and will be back in the recording stuido on Monday to do another two (yes, still using Frank Sinatra's microphone.) We will be finishing all the production by April 16th to send the CD to be mastered.
Vision Van Gogh has already started work on the design for the CD packaging. You may have noticed the new photo for the project. That is not the actual cover but probably one of the pics that will be used. Another is below. The photo shoot was done at Pyramid Lake. Beautiful Location!
The funding really picked up this past week. I really appreicate all your support. Tuesday, 3/27, was a big day for pledges. It also would have been my nephew, Jay's, 24th b-day (it was his 5th b-day in heaven). He was also treated at MD Anderson Cancer Center which is why this project is so special to me.
Speaking of MDACC, all my final paperwork is in to them. I have signed a fundraising agreement which secures that 50% of the proceeds from the sales of this CD will be donated to them.
