Hey! I'm Anthony Melillo, from NY, and I'm in a band with my brothers Nick and Joe. We are "The Melillo Brothers."
We are currently booking a TOUR from New York to Nashville, TN with three other amazing singer/songwriters:
-Adam Web (Philadelphia, PA)
-Shane Cooley (Williamsburg, VA)
-Adam Smith (Nashville, TN)
As most everyone knows, the music industry is ever-changing and those of us who have hopes and dreams of bringing our music to the public find ourselves stuck. After a couple of attempts at booking our own tours to get ourselves out on the road, it occurred to us that we can, as mutual artists attempting to accomplish the same thing, come together and support each other. First, we determined that since it would be much easier to book venues in our own areas, we should invite other artists on board who lived along a tour route we were interested in traveling. Then, each artist booking their respective areas would have the hometown advantage. Thus, the very first “Home Sweet Home Acoustic Tour” was born!
Unlike most other tour concepts, this is unique in that there are no egos here and each talent wants their peers to shine. The idea is that each artist is booking the stops in THEIR city. This ensures we're playing a venue that we can all be comfortable in, that there will be a nice crowd at every show and we each get to headline in our hometowns! It's creating the perfect stage to expose us to each other’s fan base and make new friends on a personal level along the way.
Tour Stops (complete):
July 8th - Piano's Lounge (New York City, NY)
July 9th - Otto's Sea Grill (Freeport, NY)
July 10th - Reality Bites (Nyack, NY)
July 11th - 12 Grapes (Peekskill, NY)
July 12th - The Pilot House (Cape May, NJ)

July 22nd - Borders Books & Music (Atlanta, GA)

July 25th - The Tap House (Norfolk, VA)
Down the road, we would like to develop the idea into an "artist for artist" concept, where musicians come together to book tours in their own cities, as well as each other’s. This FIRST “Home Sweet Home Tour” will be the example and springboard for others like it in the future! Those of you who come on to support us can say you were part of the original idea when it was just in the embryonic stages!
Hopefully, we'll be running two tours a year, each in a different location (i.e. East Coast, West Coast, Mid-West, International) allowing artists from all over the country, and maybe one day the world, to get involved and finally GET ON TOUR! The best part? It can be done without the need for professional management or booking agencies that ultimately eat-up the working budget.
We are extremely excited that we have XS Gear supplying us with energy drinks for the road, as well as Allstate and a few private companies supporting us with their services. However, we are still about $7,500 UNDER budget. We need gas money, a roof over our heads as we travel and food-glorious food- to keep us going. Not to mention, there's the exorbitant costs of advertising & other administrative expenses.
With your help, we can accomplish our goal and finally get on the road and bring you, our family, friends and fans, a show you'll be proud to attend, let alone help to make happen!
Thank you so much for your support and we hope you decide to jump on board our ROAD TRIP!

New York, NY
Just 35 miles outside of NYC, 18-year-old Anthony Melillo and his brothers Joe (23) and Nick (21) are the next big thing to hit the NY music scene. Anthony began as a solo artist and in only nine short months, he was creating a stir throughout the Hudson Valley, the Tri-state Area and beyond.
After releasing his self-produced debut album 'Just Gettin' Started' in August 2008, this singer/songwriter is now teaming up with his brothers to take on the project they have always dreamed. Having left their potential careers in business and theatre behind to go full-time, the boys are finding that their fan base is swiftly growing and are now becoming known as The Melillo Brothers.
Also writing for the group, Joe (vocals/guitar) adds his comfort at the mic and soulful voice to the stage; while Nick (vocals/percussion/keys) brings an energy and passion for performance that brings the group to life. The harmonies overflow from their natural sibling chemistry, leaving their audiences with a perpetual smile. The depth and maturity of this family of talented artists is apparent in their vivid lyrics and strong heartfelt melodies that go beyond their years.
The Melillo Brothers’ musical style is often compared to John Mayer, Jason Mraz & Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional, but don’t let the youth fool you. Their eclectic taste in music and diverse writing styles show hints of an early Ray Charles or Marvin Gaye with a little touch of Eric Clapton to keep you rockin’. This makes for an amazingly diverse listening audience. To watch how they draw in young & old alike is almost mesmerizing…a true joy to witness.
Recently joined by Chris Palmerini (lead guitar) and Steve Geller (bass), they are gearing up for future tours and showcases. Palmerini and Geller are sought after touring musicians who have performed with many greats including Davy Jones, Mickey Dolenz, Peter Tork, Pete Best, Mick Taylor, Tiffany, Ray Manzarek, Taylor Dayne and Bobby Messano & Richie Ranno of Starz. Whether performing as a trio or full band, these boys are getting attention everywhere they go.
Despite being new to the scene, they have already shared bills with distinguished local artists including Freddy Gillen, Jr., Marc Von Em, Ken Veltz, Kylie Edmond and Petey Hop; as well as some of today’s pop artists such as Senses Fail, Theory, School Boy Humor, Thee Armada, Phone Calls from Home, Thrash Unreal, Select Start, and Christian artists, such as Day One and Zero-to-Sixty; and this coming Spring young performing artists Chris Koon, Tyna Q and L2. They even had a little jam session with Jazz guitarist and Yankee legend Bernie Williams!
While music is the focus, these boys are always giving back to their community. They support and have performed benefit concerts for many local and national charitable organizations, such as Relay For Life, The American Cancer Society, Easter Seals, The Harlem Dowling Foundation, The Harrison Apar Field of Dreams Foundation, The Alliance for Safe Kids, Cherish Our Children International, The Hope For Change Foundation, New York City Relief and The Justin Veatch Fund, just to name a few. In fact, Anthony’s “Justin’s Song” is currently featured on the Polyvinyl Records album “Permagrin – The Music of Justin Veatch.” He wrote the song in memory of his classmate, friend and fellow musician, Justin, who was only 17 when he passed away. The boys help to raise money for the foundation’s scholarship fund through their efforts both on and off the stage.
Today’s music industry is an ever-changing, long, windy road and The Melillo Brothers are ready for the ride. They are surrounding themselves with key people who understand the business and can help them organize their efforts. On board “Team Melillo” are producer Tony Woodroffe of Noyz Boyz Entertainment, mixing engineer Paul Logus, media designer Brianne Farquhar and core consultant Kenny Ferracho, President of Pragmatic Digital Media, Inc. (formerly Director of Creative Affairs at ASCAP).
No matter what challenges they face, these boys will see them head-on with one thing in mind…“With God, all things are possible!”
They will be releasing their new album on a national scale this year full of many bound-to-be hit singles. Look out for this up-and-coming, family-friendly trio of young artists, as they are sure to be the 'next big thing!'
