Hey backers!
This week has been incredibly busy, I've been at the printers a lot checking on the books. We've had a few issues but they have turned out great. The covers are at the foilers right now, then the books will be bound and hopefully I will get them by the end of next week.
The whole printing process has been new to me and it's been really interesting to learn how it's done. The offset printers are huge! I took some photos to show you guys.
1. This is the printer that's printing the books. It has 6 passes for C, M, Y, K and two spot colours. It's HUGE.
2. Press pass guy pulling out a sheet for us to see.
3. Doing some colour checking.
I've received a few emails asking when I'll be collecting shipping and other information. We will probably do that next week – we don't want to do it too early in case some of you are moving and need to change your details later on. For those of you who have pledged for a custom drawing, I will be in contact about that over the next few weeks. The digital books will be ready soon too, I'll let you know when I have more information.

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere you were based in Wellington - but that looks so much like where I work, that wasn't Image Print in Auckland was it?? (I guess all big printers look much the same)
