The Plot...

In 2013, when every major world power launches nuclear warheads at each other, the United States gets hit hard; 200 government "experiments" escape their captivity and start to multiply, reaching over 700,000 by 2014. Daylight lasts only 8-9 hours. Almost every survivor never lives past the age of 25. With the world completely destroyed, a small group of survivors must fend off the "experiments", gang members, and survive life on the Dark World.

What We Need Your Help With...

We have most of the first season written and we'd like to start scouting locations, casting, and eventually filming. But we need your help to make it possible! We'd like to purchase good quality camera equipment so we can film the series and create beautiful cinematic scenes, flawless action scenes, and make it look as high quality as possible! We'd also love to get the most realistic props possibly for use in the series so we can really sell it's realism. Finally, we want to be able to create some amazing sets and get some beautiful outfits for our actors to wear.

This series is already starting to look amazing, and we haven't even started filming! We want to be able to share the best work we can possibly create with you! Any amount you can donate will seriously help us to achieve our goal and create what we hope to be, one of the best webseries on the internet.

The Creators...

Tyler Snodgrass, a writer from Connecticut and Matthew Choyce, a radio producer and film maker from Connecticut both started Dark World with the idea of making an amazing webseries to showcase their talents. The series was created to feed their hunger for a webseries with an amazing storyline and beautiful compositing/editing. And from what it looks like, Dark World will achieve that mighty goal!
