4 Days... $146 to $5K
...I am beginning to have dreams about this project. Literally, I dreamed yesterday about that last $146. *covers face!*
Anyway, yesterday flowers were drawn and added to the print copy... I've added a screen shot of one set of them for your enjoyment! I drew six and liked five, so I sent those along, and Dave scattered them through the book. I also started painting the cover, and took a photo of that while I was working. Uploading what I finished last night and messing with it with Photoshop, I determined that it's going to work! So I'll be working on that over the weekend, God willing.
Thank you all so much for your tweets, shares, and blog entries. They really work! In the past few days I've seen a lot more activity, video plays and people backing. I appreciate, deeply appreciate your support. The profit from this project is paying for my daughter's homeschool-enrichment program, which gives her an additional six hours a week in literacy and math training with other little kids her age (she has already come home several times with her pockets full of rocks from the playground!). And it's paid all ten months of it (!), which is not an insignificant sum. So in addition to getting goodies, you're making it possible for my daughter to have some social and learning time and her mom to have a few hours off every week to work. :)
That's why I have to wait to buy a new computer until $5K! That's when the profit will climb over the amount school costs. But with only $146 to go I think we're going to make it!

That's lovely! I wish I had room for hardcopy in my current living space. The ebook will suffice, though.
