Today we get the second "cut scene" I promised, the one that tells what happened during the Emperor's audience with the lord of Qenain and his lovers. If you have not read the book yet, I would caution you that this is very much a spoiler! There are only 24 chapters in the book, and this one fits at the end of Chapter 20! But if you've read the book in serial format already (or you just like spoilers or out-of-context material), it's up at Livejournal now.
Those of you who prefer to wait, don't worry! It will be included in every backer's pack-of-e-goodies at the conclusion of the project. :)
Yesterday I got good work done back-and-forthing with the layout pro about choices we want to make on the print version; this week I am going to be sketching the cover (expect photos! Twitter will get them first!). So things are going well in our last week of funding!
