Students of the Moody Bible Institute present  "Spoon River Anthology"!

The show follows the stories of citizens of Spoon River and chronicles their love, loss, hope, despair and joy. Based on the poetry of Edgar Less Masters, the characters are inspired by epitaph's in IL small towns circa 1920. Voices from those sleeping on the hill get one more chance to make the world hear them. The result is a strikingly beautiful tribute to small town American, family, and the stories that we leave behind. Audiences will be moved and inspired to consider what THEIR story will be when they meet their Maker. 

The students are attempting to do a fall performance, a first for MBI. We have 20 cast members, from a variety of academic years, backgrounds and majors, coming together to create something beautiful and inspiring.
