Great Success!
We breezed past the $4,500 goal at warp speed, and $6,000 is right around the corner!

Research and Development
I have been doing a ton of research for this project. The extra funding here has given me some breathing room to learn as much as I can and pour the fruits of that knowledge into the end product! On the recommendation of a talented friend, I'm reading a couple of books, including The Elements of Typographic Style. I guess I should re-watch Helvetica too, right? (Well, that's worth it just for The Album Leaf soundtrack).
Since we hit the $4,500 goal, I'll be collecting addresses from $10-reward backers as well. You shall all receive a nice letter-sized print-out of the cheat sheet, along with a reasonably high-res image so you can print more if you'd like!
Thank you all so, so much, from the bottom of my heart! This is an amazing opportunity to give back to the community, and I can't wait to get everyone their posters. The more funding I get, the longer I'll be able to work on new designs and get everything spot-on. Keep up the amazing pace, everyone! Another design update will be coming soon.

Two copies of the cheat-sheet, plus your name in the credits listed in the corner of the cheat-sheet. The names will be printed pretty small to keep everything else clear, but they will be there! Includes high-res image from the $10 reward.

5 copies of the cheat-sheet (BONUS!), plus a unique feedback opportunity. I'll solicit feedback from you about each revision of the poster, and carefully consider your advice as I move forward. Maybe I'm missing something, or the design could be improved by X and Y. There are no guarantees, here: I have strong feelings about the "right way" to make this poster, so I reserve the right to implement 0% of all offered advice. However, I do guarantee that I will listen to you in earnest before deciding what to do. Includes your name in the credits from the $50 reward, and high-res image from the $10 reward.

5 copies of the poster, including the feedback opportunity described in the $100 reward, and one additional poster on special material (canvas, wall sticker, static window cling, or 14 pt. cardstock) with a personalized thank-you message on it, custom-tweaked to reflect any of your feedback that wasn't used in the final product (within reason). Includes your name in the credits from the $50 reward, and high-res image from the $10 reward.

@Max. It could be worse. They could be using Notepad...

@Kyle: Actually, that was the $4,500 bonus! :-) Do people really still use nano/pico for regular editing? I'm flabbergasted... I will be thinking about your poor unenlightened coworkers while working on this poster. ;-)

@Arnold: Geeky minds think alike! There is definitely a website forthcoming. With this project being so successful, there's a great likelihood that I'll have the time to make even more posters. Thanks so much for your support!

What's the $8k special update? People buying the big posters get a small one for free? ;-)
I'm looking forward to receiving my cheat sheet and proclaiming the awesomeness of VIM in my office. Most of my coworkers use textmate or nano/pico.
Bleck.

Guess we blew 6K away.
If you haven't done it already, set up a website where you can sell these afterwards. I know my company might buy some just to hang in our labs.
Some ideas for future cheat sheets:

Ubuntu shortcuts and command line
eclipse shortcuts
Thanks for the great kickstarter project!
