So Far
So far you've doubled our goal, which is SO FAR beyond what we expected! Please accept our deepest, most heartfelt gratitude for how you've invigorated The Classic Crime during this campaign.
People have been sending us requests to tour all over the US and the world. We will do our best to get to the whole US on this record. We'll have to do it in stages, because truthfully it takes a full 6 weeks to get around this massive country, and we'll only have the ability to leave our jobs and families for 3 weeks at a time. We'll try our best to do two legs, that way we can do the West Coast and middle (Mountain, Central) in one, then drive across the country and do the East Coast, South, and Southeast. We'd love an opportunity to go overseas anywhere, but that's not just a money issue, it has a lot to do with getting the right promoters and a lot of logistics that go beyond simply deciding to do it. So, if you are an international promoter who books US bands, please accept this invitation to send us a message.
Pledge Updates:
We added a $40 package which includes the T-Shirt, because people like T-Shirts. Also, we added 85 more Elite Packages ($50 level). As I type this there are 58 left. When they're gone, they're gone, because we want to have our Elite Package pledgers names readable in the CD liner notes out of respect for their pledges!
As I type this there are 101 Music Lovers Packages available. That means 101 more names are available to go into the limited edition pressing of vinyl for this new album. This is our first real collectors item, as everything we've ever done has been mass produced. We're thinking of giving rewards at shows to those who show up with the record. Like massive discounts on merch and access to watch us side-stage, etc. We'll let you know when we figure that one out.
Big THANK YOU to David Hulet for backing us at $2500. I'll be flying out to Salt Lake some time this year to play for him and his friends. Also special thanks to Jason Bellamy and Dena Milstead for backing us and getting some other big ticket rewards. These are going to be some fun experiences, and we'll do our best to perform them well.
Record News:
Just got some information yesterday that Michael "Elvis" Baskette (Producer of Albatross, The Silver Cord, and Vagabonds) MIGHT be getting involved with this project on the mixing level! This is super exciting for us because he feels like a member of our band and we are HUGE fans of his passion for music. We'll keep you posted!

So stoked to be getting the vinyl package. It really sounds like it is going to be awesome. Wish I had another $150 to get the 15 Skype with Matt to talk about the songs. Can't tell you how much I love discussing song meanings with people. I love digging into a song and trying to find the emotions that went into it.
