Dearly Beloved Backers - New Videos and Music!

Hello friends,

Matt here to update you on a few things. It has been a long time since we've communed on this forum, so I wanted to share some news.

First - PHOENIX continues to be one of our proudest achievements. I am reminded daily that without the likes of you, WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT. Words cannot express our gratitude for you... but here goes: thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou.

Second - Recently, while hanging out on a tour stop in Las Vegas, we decided to shoot an impromptu music video on our iPhones for "What I'd Give Up," a song you helped us make. You can watch that disaster here:

Third - If you've heard either "Glass Houses" or "What I'd Give Up" on a radio station you listen to, will you shoot them a message for us and say "Thank you"? We would really appreciate it!

Fourth - My wife and I are having another baby. Because of this, we are making another Vocal Few EP (releasing in less than two weeks). Many of you have already pre-ordered, but in case you haven't, or in case you don't even know about this little side-project, check out some of our new stuff online:

Getting Your Digital Downloads

Dearly beloved Backers,

It's been two days since we started sending out the "We All Look Elsewhere-EP" and Advance Copies of "Phoenix." We are extremely humbled and blessed by all of your rave reviews on our Facebook and other pages! Thank you for investing in "Phoenix." It would not be here without you. 

All of the emails have been confirmed to be delivered, but there are still around 20% which remain unopened. This means a few hundred of you have not gotten your digital downloads. If you have yet to receive the email from us, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Check your junk/spam folder.

Step 2: Check inbox and junk/spam folders of all other email addresses you have.

Step 3: Message us on Kickstarter through your Kickstarter account, and include your email address in the message.

Step 4: Wait.

We are trying our best to make sure everyone gets what they ordered! Very few people were legitimately forgotten, and most have found their codes either in their spam folders, on their providers server, or in different accounts than they were originally checking. If you follow these steps first, we can assure you will have a better chance of downloading the music in a timely manner.

We're starting to work next week on shipping all of your Kickstarter rewards out, so please be patient with us. We're just a few dumb dudes trying to figure this whole DIY thing out. I feel we are getting a pretty good handle on it though!

TOUR FRONT:

Summer tour dates are posted on our Facebook page. We're trying our best to fill dates on the West Coast but we're having the hardest time. We are looking to potentially play some acoustic home-shows, so stay tuned for that!

As far as East Coast goes we'll have to book another run in early 2013. We wanted to do it all at once but some of the guys would potentially lose their jobs if they took 6 straight weeks off. So we decided to do the whole tour in two 3-week segments. We thought about fall and winter, but we know there is a ton of weather between us and the East Coast, and thought it best to wait until Spring 2013 to head east. If you live out there, please be patient! We are doing our best to book our way out there as soon as we can!
