We are recording brand new music and we need your help to finish it (mixing, mastering, manufacturing, marketing, any other m-words that require the m-word, etc). By backing this project you will not only receive some phantasmagorical rewards, you will also ensure that our next album is the best sounding music we can possibly create, making you an integral part of the whole thing. We are thankful to have the most loyal supporters in the world, and we are hopeful we will reach and exceed our goal. There's no more middle man. It's just you and us.
We had a hilarious time dreaming up exclusive packages, limited edition items and unique experiences to inspire you guys to back this project. Many are ridiculous, we know, but we think you'll get a kick out of some of the things we're willing to do to make this record happen. As the project unfolds we will keep you, our beloved backers, up to date here as much as possible with exclusive studio updates and videos, as well as some fun never-before-seen skits from back in the day.
Anything we raise above the goal will be directed toward marketing, touring, and overall promotion of the record (shoot a video, etc). It's been awhile since we toured the entire US, so the more backers we get the better our chances! We've had a lot of fun making these packages and we can't wait to see who gets involved.
We feel so blessed to have the opportunity to make music these days, and with your pledges we hope to be able to record songs for many years to come.

Stuff gets sent before the album is released. We get your info after April 12th when the project closes. We'll contact you about shirt sizes, name, and where to ship AFTER April 12th.

We're thinking mid-summer. So like, July-ish 2012.

Yes, everyone who donates over $10 gets the digital album two weeks early. However, if you bought say, Skips drumsticks, but you wanted the Elite Package as well, just add $50 to your pledge. We will send a survey out at the end of the campaign, to which you can respond letting us know what the extra $50 is for. That way we'll know to send you the Elite Package as well.

No, we'll work around your schedule and try to get your reward to you at the earliest convenience. The estimated delivery dates are... estimated.

Probably not. Even when we had a label our distribution in Canada was sketchy at best. Since we're independent, we'll have no physicial distribution, so you'd be hard pressed to find our physical CD in a store. The best thing to do is to get involved with the project!

Two, essentially. The other five are represented on Albatross, but they sound way different. Say The Word and The Bitter Uprising are two very different versions. The fun part is that in listening and identifying the changes we made, one can gain insight into a part of the writing process that rarely gets exposed.
