Together with my wife Darcie and a great staff, I have been running Polyvinyl Records, an independent record label, in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois for the past 13 years.

Oh man, so i get my package today, but it is totally not a package, It is a flat yellow envelope with a USPS sticker on it that says (received without package contents). Inside there was nothing but empty bubble wrap. Is there any hope of me getting my CDs resent? I ordered the $30 package. Please help me, I need to rock!

I heard about this on the radio. WXPN in Philadelphia mentioned this in a small piece during the morning rush yesterday. That piece reached the ears of thousands and thousands of people (both on air and online) which may be why you picked up a bunch new backers recently. It's what brought me here, and I think this is a great idea. Glad to help!

I sent this to Exclaim! magazine a few days after you started the pledge. I hope you got some funny coloured Canadian money out of it!
I learned about this from a post on the Lollapalooza message board that mentioned having heard about it from Pitchfork. Blogged it, Tweeted it, and sent it on to a friend in California who immediately Facebooked it. I bet this seemed like a great idea at the time, but now you're actually going to have to box all this stuff up, eh? Have fun!

Hi Matt= thanks so much. we do indeed have to wait until the project "end date" (july 14) but the mailorder crew is already prepacking the boxes so that when kickstarter gives us the addresses on july 14, we'll be able to mail them out the next day :)
I see you have beyond reached your goal! Nice going, gotta question for you. Are we going to have to wait to receive our stuff after the deadline? Or do you ship it out as soon as you receive the order?
So I was never given the option to have anything sent to another address, it just asked for my billing address. How can I remedy this?

have pledged $90 as i'm in the UK also and even though i own a few of them already this is a great label (my favourite actually!) and i can't see these records go to waste... glad to see the target reached!
