Matthew Lessner is filmmaker whose projects have screened at Sundance, SXSW and Clermont-Ferrand. His work has been featured on Wholphin DVD Magazine, Canal+, PBS, and MTV. He is currently represented by Paranoid US and RODS in France. Matthew lives and works between Los Angeles and New York City and is currently in post-production on his first feature film, The Woods.
Hello Matthew. Congrats on The Woods getting a spot at Sundance next year. A bit of advice if I may...you should also seek support from folks who grew up in and around Roseburg. I'm a "Burgite" who graduated from RHS and can safely say there are more than a few from our hometown who would help fund your films. Sounds like your days of asking for money for your projects may be over. PS...The Woods trailer reminds me of the Eugene Country Fair crowd from the early 70's...only with laptops and cell phones.
