Aqua Twilight will be installed at the John and Mary Pappajohn Education Center September 14 - September 29 as part of ArtStop 2012.

A large installation of my work, Aqua Twilight, will be on display at the John and Mary Pappajohn Education Center in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, from September 14 - September 29 as part of ArtStop 2012. 

Aqua Twilight is part of a series I debuted last year with my piece Aqua Night, which appeared as part of the Des Moines Art Center's Iowa Artists 2011 exhibition.

For this year's show at the John and Mary Pappajohn Education Center, the images are digitally printed on translucent DuraTrans, the material used in lightboxes at movie theaters. This should achieve a glowing effect, intended for viewing from outdoors at night. 

The full cost of the art and installation is $9200, but I would like to raise $4600 to defray this total. Every donation of $20 or more will get a 5" x 10" miniature reproduction of Aqua Twilight, and donations of $50 or more will get a piece of the original art, after the installation is over.
