Veteran lyricist and recording artist Matlock is teaming up with "Live From The Streets" producer Mr. Green for an EP full of hip-hop anthems this year and we need YOU to help press it on vinyl.

The last time these 2 artists collaborated on 2010's "Brand New Nikes", the result was a cult-classic with 400,000 YouTube views and world-wide airplay. Now, they're back with a whole new project featuring the raw lyricism of Matlock over the hard-hitting boom-bap beats of Mr. Green for your listening pleasure.

The first single and music video from this hip-hop power duo, "Underground King" is recieving an incredible amount of press from countless hip-hop blogs around the world and is already racking up thousands of views a day on YouTube.

We want to give this project a the CD,Vinyl and Digital release it deserves, but pressing wax is not cheap. Other formats of recorded music have came and went through the years, but vinyl is will always be here. Vinyl is perfect for this project noting the "EP" length (to maximize volume output on the records themselves), and to commemorate the vinyl hip-hop era of the 90's, which both of these artists are heavily inspired by. But don't worry if you don't own a turntable, the EP will also be available on CD, iTunes, Amazon and wherever fine music is sold.

All funds raised will go toward the pressing of this project on vinyl, CD duplication, printing the t-shirts, stickers and all other rewards offered here. The more money we raise, the better the rewards will be. For instance, if we go above and beyond our minimum goal of $1,750, we can press colored vinyl, have full-color jackets, etc. Basically the better the funding, the better the outcome of the physical product.
