Greetings Matchbook supporters!

We have great news! Thanks to all of your generous Kickstarter donations, last night we reached (and exceeded) our $6,000 fundraising goal with 10 days to spare! We couldn't be more thrilled. As it stands now, we have received donations from 102 different donors in states coast to coast, and even internationally. It's incredibly encouraging and invigorating to know that so many people support our production of Richard II, and we owe a great debt to each and every one of you! We feel passionately about what we do and we are so thankful for your help. It's a difficult and expensive task to produce a full-length play in New York City, and without you we couldn't have done it.

Rehearsals are in full swing (no, we're not above bad trapeze puns), and the work is excellent. Performance time looms, and we're eager to share our vision and our talents with you. We know that many of you are supporting from afar and will be unable to attend the show; but for everyone near New York City in the month of May, please come and see your dollars in action. Richard II starts performances at The Tank on Friday May 7th at 7pm and continues through May 24th. Tickets are on sale now for $15 here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/99446.
For more information, please see visit our website: http://www.matchbookproductions.org

Those of you who pledged to receive one of our many great rewards will be contacted once the Kickstarter campaign closes. In the meantime, we've got 10 days left to keep accepting pledges, and we hope to continue receiving more support before our time is through. Every dollar helps to make this show and all our future endeavors as great as we know they can be.

Thank you again for being such an important part of our first production and the future of our company!

Sincerely,

- John Behlmann and the entire Matchbook Team
