With my own small press I can make small prints that will reach a whole different audience than my paintings and more expensive large monotypes.
I want to make affordable art!
I want to make art that I can sell at a low enough price to engage a whole new audience. My paintings and large monotypes are doing well, but I feel like I can grow a whole younger audience if I can bring my prices within reach of the average person.
I am raising funds for the purchase and shipping of a lightweight Ettan MS-12 etching press that I can use for printing small-scale intaglio prints and monotypes. I also intend to use the press for demonstrations and workshops that I will be teaching out of my studio.
