The Ghastlycrud Zombies!
The latest work from the diseased mind of Martin Whitmore, this post-apocalyptic alphabet book will teach you the ABC's of surviving (and not surviving, in spectacularly gory fashion) in a cartoony zombie holocaust. The Ghastlycrud Zombies is a twisted children's book unfit for any kid... but your sick and twisted inner child is gonna love it!
At this stage of the project the book has been written, the artwork has been completed, and all we need to publish the book in a hardcover edition (like your favorite children's books) is your help! By supporting this project, you're helping to bring this book to life (or horrible, horrible unlife, as the case may be), and getting a copy for yourself to read to your little ones. ...when they've done something very bad, of course. ...or maybe just to steel them against the terrible days to come when the dead finally rise!
To print this run, I've spoken to McCarthy Print in Austin, TX. They're a locally-owned HUB business, and are a certified green print shop. ...just because zombies are going to destroy the world is no reason not to keep the place nice until then.

I've done everything I can to mitigate complications in this campaign - I've gotten price quotes for the printing & binding of the book, so cost changes shouldn't be an issue. It is possible, since as the artist behind the project I'm offering hand-drawn & hand-painted incentives for some of the higher-tier rewards, that I could get a little behind if the project is funded far above my expectations. I've added in extra time to the estimates to allow for more work than I think will be necessary to meet demand. If the campaign funds significantly over expectation, and it looks like I may have trouble meeting deadlines, I will look into hiring some envelope stuffers to allow me to focus on the creative part of fulfilling the orders in a timely fashion.
It is also possible that the book may need to go through multiple iterations of the proof approval process with our printers. This may add to the turnaround time of the books being completed, but will make sure that the quality is much higher.
McCarthy will need to have the hardcover of the book done by an outside source. This may lead to some delay if there is difficulty on their end.
Hand-painted Art Grenades are a time-consuming thing to make, so if a large number of them are part of the project, it may take me extra time to fulfill the orders that include them. However, if this is the case, I will send your copy of the book, as well as any other available rewards, along to you while I work on your grenade, and send it along later at no additional shipping cost.
