Hi Mark...I'm rather disappointed that I am still waiting for mine to arrive. I had emailed a few weeks ago and still not heard anything. Please update me...I don't seem to be alone.

Hello I'am still waiting for mine

Here's a comment from Chad, a person who ordered directly via InertialDesign.com... “Received my aTrackt! and extremely pleased. Simple & clean design. Keyboard and Trackpad dropped in perfectly, fit together like PB&J. Biggest surprise… customer service. There were some initial shipping delays, I reached out and got a response within hours. But that wasn’t it… They followed-up twice without prompting to keep my updated, wow. The shipping delays have been fixed and the the aTrackt even comes shipped in a re-useable cardboard tube, be green folks. “

You're more than welcome! It's been a challenge, but hey... it *is* a start-up so there's that! But just wait until you guys see what I have planned next! :)

Another post from another satisfied aTrackt! user. I've had mine for a few weeks, and I'm very happy with it. It does everything it's supposed to do and adds nothing unnecessary to my desk. Mark went through a lot getting this product out to us and for that I am grateful because it is exactly what I wanted. Thanks Mark.

Thanks Barry! Always glad to hear! :) Help spread the word!!! Send everyone to the new site at http://www.InertialDesign.com as the more people are interested, the better chance I'll run the next version if it.

Got my aTrackt and solid lower plate about ten days ago and could not be happier. Works and looks perfect and as designed. I used it non stop on Sunday for about 6 hours with no issues of placement, or ergonomics.
Looking forward to the next design/idea.
thanks

Hi Ben! Actually, your unit should have came with four white rubber feet specifically for that reason! They should have been included in the same bag as the screws. You may wanna double-check your trash can! :)
Really glad you like it. Help spread the word!!!
Creator Benjamin Doerrmann on April 27, 2011
Hello Mark, I got mine on Friday. As i write this letter I'm on the living room couch with my feet up on the coffee table and the aTrakt Go on my lap. I'm loving it. I wanted ti use it fir a few days first, but now I couldn't imagine if I had purchased any other product instead. Quick and easy install, from the mailbox to on my lap in less than 2 minutes. Thanks a ton, and the best of luck to you in the future!
PS: Just an idea i had.... i use this quite often on my coffee table (which i dont believe is %100 truly flat and level). Perhaps their might be a way to employ 4 rubber skid stoppers for the bottom corners of the unit? I know it takes away the ability to flip it and switch between right/left handed, but if you're not doing it frequently it would be great, it would have to be thin enough, and self adhesive so the buyer could put on after assembly. You could probably find an inexpensive solution so you don't have to raise the cost much more than pennies per unit. I would have bought it as an extra if I were just a comsumer shopping online. No worries though, the product is awesome! I can very easily pick something up at a hardware store for about a buck that will satisfy me if I really need to, (didn't mean to nit-pick).

Hi Josh! All US orders went out on Tuesday and Wednesday of last week so it's already in the mail. It was shipped USPS Parcel Post so there is no tracking info, but look for a large white box: 21" x 6" x 2". Yours should be there in the next few days.
Creator josh on April 25, 2011
When will mine be shipped? And will i get a tracking number?
Creator Mark A. Donohoe on April 22, 2011
Thanks, Alex! Glad you like it. I was driving the machine shop absolutely crazy with all the measuring and changes to get it to work/look just right. Hearing that makes all the hard work worth it!
Creator ALEX GASTON on April 22, 2011
I just got mine and I live it! I will get another I am sure of it. I have seen copies but they don’t match this! Fits great!
Creator Mark A. Donohoe on April 22, 2011
@Gary, Glad you like! Was a bit of an ordeal there at the end, but I'm glad it worked out. The big question is however since you ordered both a standard Go! and one with a solid plate as well, which do you prefer?
And remember, if you just need one 'Go' leave the other apart and use it as a standard aTrackt for your desk! That's what I use day-to-day since it doesn't lift up, change the angle or otherwise affect the actuation of the trackpad like my friendly competitor 'down south' does. :)
Creator Mark A. Donohoe on April 22, 2011
Jeff, your order went out on Wednesday via USPS Parcel Post. It's in a white box... 21 x 6 x 2. Keep an eye out for it.

Received my order this afternoon! I am very impressed with the craftsmanship and finish of each of my items. They match and fit my Apple products perfectly. I had ordered one aTrackt Go! with a standard frame and another with a solid plate. They were well worth the wait and are made much better than other items that I had seen on the market.
Many thanks, Gary.

Hi! Most shipments are going out USPS First Class so there's no tracking info. But all USA Orders go out tomorrow. They're all boxed up with labels printed and affixed. Just need to drop them off.

You should make all shipping to Canada USPS because with UPS it's very expensive when the package arrive...
At least , for me, I want it shipped by USPS...
Creator Mark A. Donohoe on March 27, 2011
Hi Erwing. I wrote you directly, but the short version is you just ordered the solid plate without customizations. The customizations cost extra. Here's the description from your pledge level...
"Different Kind of aTracktion! with a SOLID LOWER PLATE!! You are pre-ordering and will receive two (2) aTrackt! and one (1) aTrackt Go! Includes shipping within the continental United States. (Add $15 for shipment to Canada and $25 for orders shipped to other countries.)"

Hi Jeofrey!
The short version is in about three weeks.
The long version is the project closes tomorrow, but Amazon Payments then has a 14-day hold on the funds for new accounts such as mine. (Frustrating, I know!) Then once that's done, it takes an additional day or two to have the funds actually transfered to my business account.
Then it's just me handing the check to the shops to get the products released to me. Then I box them up and send them out to you. (...then you all wax poetic about how awesome these things are and spread the word to your friends, who then also love the product and buy even more! But I'm ahead of myself.)
Now I'm going to actually try and see if I can get the products released to me early. That really depends on if I can convince the shops to let me do a Net-30 instead of a COD as it is now. I have asked that already and they did tell me they usually don't do that with new accounts, but I think once they see the funding as successful they'll be more inclined to work with me here knowing the money is guaranteed to come in, especially if they want me to keep working with them for these, as well as the other products I have coming.
But even if I can get it done earlier, we're still looking at about two weeks since I'm now doing that awesome glass-beading finish that I posted about in the updates.
Believe me though... it'll be worth the wait! :)
Mark

Thanks for your fast response. I'll go ahead and back your project in hopes that you'll keep thinking about a way to make an aTrackt! for the wired keyboard. Good luck in your venture.
Creator Mark A. Donohoe on February 25, 2011
Hi Scott! I answered you there too but I'm copying it here so others can see it as well.
In short, if you use the wired keyboards (either of them) side-by-side with the trackpad you'll see they're actually not only a different depth front-to-back, but even the angle of incline is different (the wireless has to have the extra room for the batteries.) But even that aside, if the back USB 'box' on the keyboard did fit, in the channel, it would cover the USB ports.
But I feel your pain!!! Apple really, REALLY needs to come out with a wireless keyboard with the numeric pad and if they do, I assure you there will be variations of the aTrackt! that work with it. But I just can't work the wired version. Again, I feel your pain!
For now though, there are a couple other solutions out there that instead of using the battery tube to hold the units, they attach something on the underside of the 'flat' parts of the keyboard and trackpad to hold them together. Those devices would work for you. Truthfully though, you could achieve basically the same result by using a strong masking or painters tape on the bottoms that you wouldn't see from the top. I'd even consider a 'foam' or padded tape since they tend to 'give' a little more and would help with that incline difference as well.
If you do go that route though... place the tape as close to the battery tube as you can because the trackpad articulates from back there and moving it closer to the front would affect your ability to click.
Hope this helps!
Mark

I posted this comment on one of your updates, but I'm new to Kickstarter and realized it might not be seen there so please forgive the duplicate post.
I know a lot of people like the wireless Apple keyboard, but I have to use the wired version because I need the number keypad. Any chance of a version of aTrackt! for the wired keyboard/magic trackpad combination?

Thanks for your comments, Ren! Yes, I am definitely passionate about this. Actually, because of the TwelveSouth issue, I'm actually more inspired than ever to make this thing grow.

Thank goodness you posted on TUAW as I had planned on buying Magic Wand. I'll gladly pay a higher amount for quality material and workmanship from an entrepreneur who's passionate about his product and put his money where his mouth is. Heck, I don't even own a wireless keyboard and Magic Pad - these will be gifts. Best of luck and look forward to receiving the aTrackts.
