Mark Norris is a writer, songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist who resides in Buffalo, NY. But don't hold that against him. After all, whatever doesn't kill us only makes stronger and for that reason alone Mark is a champion weight lifter.
I can't speak for anyone else (but I think I do) when I say that this was a way for me to say thank you for years of great music. I wan't your biggest backer, dollar-wise, but I am a big fan of the music. I still have my "Teenage Jesus b/w She" girlpope single. And I still love it. I'm so happy you found a way to continue with the Backpeddlers.
You can hear some tracks from the album and Mark discuss the Kickstarter project on The To Do List podcast: http://www.tdlpod.com/episode-6-mark-norris-of-the-backpeddlers/

No, Brandon doesn't play drums on this. However, he does play the saw and does a damn fine job!
As long as Brandon Delmont isn't playing the drums. :)
