Update #11: YOU DID IT!!! - What the $25,130 are you talking about???
I can't tell you how amazing it feels to have this kind of support. To choose to make art in any way is a risky decision. I've been so fortunate to have the support of people like you for the 6 years I've been doing this full time and I really couldn't do this job without you.
You all worked so hard to pass the word along about my campaign. That is the unbelievable, priceless power that you have. A thumbs up for social media as the majority of the money raised was through people checking facebook and twitter (Kickstarter tells me all the places people found the link - thank you). How amazing is that? The first two times I did this I had paper forms and a paypal account.
The record is DONE. The album artwork is almost DONE. The film is almost DONE. Literally all of these things have been getting their finishing touches in the last 10 days. It's been insane and so very rewarding. This whole year has blown my mind but this last 45 days takes top drawer!
Stewart and I made one final video to say THANK YOU! We hope you have an incredible holiday however, and if, you celebrate one. ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Born and raised on Canada's smallest province, Prince Edward Island, Rose Cousins lives in Halifax Nova Scotia, and is a vital part of the thriving East Coast Canadian music scene.
Her first two full length albums won multiple awards in Canada and she has been steadily building a following in the United States by constantly making music and touring with colleague across the country.
Rose has collaborated with Canadian greats Joel Plaskett, Luke Doucet, Melissa McLelland, Kathleen Edwards, Jenn Grant, Tom Wilson (Blackie & the Rodeo Kings), Ron Sexsmith and American stars Kris Delmhorst, Mark Erelli, Jennifer Kimball, Rose Polenzani, Darrell Scott, John Gorka, & Eliza Gilkyson.
Rose is currently working in her third studio album in Boston, MA. Zachariah Hickman (Josh Ritter Royal City Band) is producing this project which will also feature an incredible cast of musicians from the rich Cambridge/Boston community.

Dear Rose and Stuart - Thanks for the video, I thought it was really funny, the two of you really spark off one another. Rose you are so switched on and that is why you have made this Kickstarter thing work - you're switched on and therefore you in turn are switching other people on. Thanks for all the music and enthusiam that you have put into this. Music in my opinion is a very personal thing and not everyone will get what you have but they will be switched on by others, on so it goes on.
