Update #3: Hello From the Downtown Raleigh Apiary
Spring is shortly around the corner here in the City of Oaks and that means one important thing to DtRA: SWEET SWEET HONEY! In the next few weeks our friends in the hives will be working overtime to fill their bellies and hives with early spring pollen and nectar for honey. And we will be working overtime putting that delicious raw honey into jars. We will also be reaching out to all the backers to fulfill our part of the project. If you haven't recieved your rewards please email me directly (chad@market-raleigh.com) so I can get mailing addresses and scheduals for dinners and larger rewards. This project has a huge impact in the community and is growing on a weekly basis. Our hives will be making a small road trip to a new location a few blocks down the street. They will over look a new project in downtown Raleigh: Raleigh City Farm. This is an incredible community influenced project that is utilizing empty space in and urban setting. They have launched a kickstarter as well http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/raleighcityfarm/raleigh-city-farm-lets-dig-where-we-live
