Update #17: A Kickstarter campaign near to my heart
Dear my loyal backers,
I normally never do this, but Brian McTear is my dear friend and produced 3 of my albums, including the self-titled record you all helped make. He is running a Kickstarter Campaign right now to support a very worthy cause, which you can read about below and also by clicking on the blue link.

Weathervane Music is a non profit organization co-run by Brian McTear and Peter English. Brian is the director of Weathervane Music. WV Music discovers and furthers the careers of new and emerging musical artists. Brian McTear and Peter English try to find artists that are not working with record labels and need the extra push to get their music heard.
Because the United States is severely lacking in arts funding, organizations like Weathervane Music are what help people like me and slews of others continue to do what they do. WV Music helped to launch, most recently, Sharon Van Etten's career trajectory by recording "Love More" for the "Shaking Through" Video Series. This song was then covered by Bon Iver and WV Music thus helped to make a brilliant and lovely songwriter like Sharon heard throughout the world. Brian is also one of the nicest guys I know, complete with a heart of gold and ears of platinum. Donate to a very worthwhile Kickstarter project and please spread this link around.
PS- I am excited to be curating one of these in the future, where I will get to pick some of my own favorite unsung heroes and help to get their music heard. Thank you for listening and supporting worthy causes and believing that art makes the world a better place.
