Rapper/Writer Clarance Boddyker is launching his own digital and print on demand comic book company, August Comics. August Comics' 1st comic book will be a 4-issue, black and white, 20 pages per issue, Filipino-centric martial arts action comic called Malolos Man. The comic book is inspired by and based upon the writer's many visits to the Philippines. The script is finished and ready to be drawn. A Malolos Man live action film is being optioned right now. Philippines acting legend and movie star Cesar Montano is attached to produce, direct and star in a Malolos Man film based on this comic. This comic will also serve as a storyboard for the live action film. All funds raised through Kickstarter will be used to pay pencilers, inkers, letterers and cover artists to create the 4 issue Malolos Man mini-series. YES! After I submitted a proposal, international film star Cesar Montano has agreed to produce, direct and star in a live adaptaion of the Malolos Man comic book. The film is being developed as of now.
