MY STORY:

My name is Makenzie Caine (a.k.a. Makie) and I make music.  ...And lots of other creative stuff!

{TRANSLATION: Stuff = Performing in NYC, Japan, Korea, Acting in Film & Television, Designing, Blogging... You get the drift.}

I've always been penning my own songs since I was a wee one growing up on the farm in MN.  As I've been in NYC for several years acting and singing "other people's songs," I've decided now is the time to share my own musical creations!  So I'm making a record and I need your help so I can share my music with YOU!

Making an album takes a lot of time and collaborative effort from a slew of talented folks.  It also... [bum-ba-dah] costs money.  ;)

You might be thinking, "Oh my, Makenzie, that's a big number you're looking to raise!"  Well my friends, it's really only half of what we need but we are scrappy creatives and know how to make amazing things on a small budget.

Here's the BREAKDOWN: 

There are recording fees, musician fees, mixing, mastering fees, not to mention the financial undertaking of making a music video, packaging the cd and publicizing it for the world to take notice.  (Or at least a certain audience who might enjoy my music but just haven't heard it yet!)

In return for your dollars, I'd like to share and collaborate through this entire experience with photos, videos and updates.  I'll also give you one-of-a-kind, personal creations from me to you to express my gratitude and appreciation for your spirit and support! –––––>
